Overnight Boarding at Happy Paws Tosa

Our Wauwatosa location offers comfortable boarding suites designed with your dog’s safety and comfort in mind. Boarding dogs enjoy daycare and group play during the day, then settle in for a relaxing night.

Our Tosa boarding area includes calming blue kennel spaces and a comfortable environment to help dogs feel at ease after a full day of play.

What Should I Bring for Boarding?

Please label all items with your dog’s first and last name, as we have many dogs with the same names.

• Collar
• All dogs must wear a collar while in our facility. Please do not bring chain collars or studded collars. Please remove flea collars before boarding.
  
• Food
• Food must be packed in individual bags or airtight containers labeled with your dog’s first and last name. We have a refrigerator and freezer available for raw or wet food. Please include any special feeding instructions, such as adding water or mixing in wet food.
  
• Treats and Food Toppers
• You may pack treats or food toppers for your dog. We can add them to meals for picky eaters.
  
• Toys
• Please do not bring toys.
  
• Bedding
• We do not accept beds from home at the Tosa location. Happy Paws provides cots, mats, and blankets for boarding dogs.
  
• Medication
• All medication must be properly labeled and sorted. If medication needs to be given in half or quarter tablets, please have tablets broken into the correct dosage before arrival. A medication administration fee of $5 per day, per dog applies.

All items must be clearly labeled with your dog’s first and last name.

Items sent with your dog may be chewed, torn, or stained during their stay. Happy Paws is not responsible for lost, damaged, or destroyed items.

Holiday Hours 

We are closed for major holidays, including Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. No pick-up or drop-off is available on those days. 

Please contact us for holiday pick-up and drop-off hours, as holiday hours may vary.

Boarding Requirements

For your dog to board with us, all required vaccines and records must be up to date before their stay.

Required records include:

• Rabies: 1-year or 3-year vaccine
• DHPP: 1-year or 3-year vaccine
• Bordetella: within the last 12 months
• Intestinal parasite screening with Giardia: within the last 12 months

Dogs over 6 months old must be spayed or neutered to participate in group play.

Female dogs in heat are not allowed to board during that time. 

Paperwork and vaccination records must be submitted and approved before your dog’s stay. Your reservation is not fully confirmed until all required paperwork has been received and approved.
